August 4.  Yesterday Mum and Dad were still sick so we stayed in.  Today we packed up and left the cottage. Then went to a corn and flax mill, but they don’t grow corn here they mean mostly oats and other grain. After the oats we went to Glenveagh National Park! We took a tour of a  beautiful house that was built like a castle. Then we took a walk in the park, and around the house’s gardens. Then we were on the road again to London Darry. we looked all over the place looking for some were to eat eventually we found a Chines restaurant. Every town in Ireland seems to have 1 Chinese/European restaurant. We stayed at a place called the Merchants House where we enjoyed the sitting room and finally some wifi.

Congratulation to Francis and Stacie, they got married today in Vancouver.

August 2 Thursday: This morning my parents got food poisoning from oysters. But all together they drove me to a horse riding lesson anyway. Which was so nice of them. My lesson was amazing I was a little worried at first but when I got into it I was having a blast. The instructor told me that if i was here a little longer I would do jumps! I met some really nice people there too, and my horse was very nice. His name was Robin, but he was really slow. No matter how hard I tried he didn’t listen, but he trotted nicely most of the time! That was all I did today!

August 1: We went to a light house called St. Johns point. It was so windy! We went to Ardara and watched some people weaving tweed on a loom. Then I played pitch and putt with my dad. We explored to fined an old stone, it turned out a friendly dog lead us there. and while we were in the area we stopped at the beach at Narin, and I made a sand castle and walked along the beach. Then we went to Donegal town to have dinner at the Castel Bar. Good night.

July 31: Now today we drove daddy to the Murvagh golf corse and he golfed while mum and I went to the Donegal Castle for a tour. They said there were ghosts in the castle. Then we walked around town just looking in shops and a little bitt of shopping but we didn’t get any thing. We had dinner at the local tavern eek!!! This time the dirt worked, dad made a wonderful fire. (p.s) Happy Birthday Nanu!!!!

July 30: Today we went hiking to Slieve League Cliffs and they are the tallest cliffs in europe. Lots of walking not enough sitting, feeling woozy. Just kidding! daddy tried to make a sod fire, sod is dirt. we spent for ever trying to burn dirt! I don’t get it, just use wood for crying out loud!

July 29: Today mum made me get up and ready for church I was reluctant, because I was really tired. when I came down stairs we had a really short breakfast and started walking to church, it was a long walk but the mass was only 30 min not 1 hour! Nothing was open so for lunch we stayed home. Dad and I went for a dip in the atlantic ocean. When we came home dad had a cat nap while I taught mummy how to paint an apple and do some Irish dancing.

July 28: When we got to our beach house I was very surprised but happily surprised. We were going to be staying in a little cottage like thing with an ocean view. When I got inside I was very exited because it was the cutest little thing, but with lots of spiders, creepy. It turned out that that evening the property owners where putting on an evening of opera in the garden shed. At 7 ish we were ready for a stroll through the garden and some nice and funny opera. The opera was beautiful, but when it was over I was quite tired.
