March 26: Today we went to Pompeii, another town burnt to a crisp by mont Vesuvius. Our guide was Giovani, and it only took two hours but we covered lots of ground. Most of the buildings were intact and, the streets still had original stones on them. I went to Pompeii with dad two years ago but I didn't remember much. There were some human skeletons found that had casts to keep then preserved over the years. It was beautiful. Pompeii is at least two times bigger then the town we were at yesterday day. Then we all went home and mum and dad went back out to see Oplontis, another town destroyed by Vesuvius in 79AD, with the Villa Poppea built for Nero's wife where she would bath in a huge pool filled with donkey milk. March 25: Today we drove forty five minuets to get to Pompeii. Once we got there we had about ten minutes to drop off our stuff and get ready to go to Herculaneum. Herculaneum was an ancient Roman town, that was destroyed by volcanic ash in seventy nine A.D. Herculaneum is most famous for being blown to smithereens along with Pompeii, Stabiae, Boscoreal, and Oplontis when mount Vesuvius erupted. The town (unlike pompeii) was buried so deep that the buildings upper stories are still in tacked, and the hotter ash preserved wooden house hold objects (and even food). The excavators found some of three hundred skeletons by the sea shore. At the end of our visit we saw one of the cutest cats, it was happy to eat our Temptation treats. Once we were done in Herculaneum we came home and I was so hungry we stopped at McDonalds, and brought it home. Then mum and dad went out for dinner. Good bye and Good night.

March 24: Today is palm sunday! That means church, but at church there were so many people that we couldn't get seats. Then we took the long way home and on the way stopped for an ice-cream. Dad loved the ice cream so much we spent at least fifteen minuets getting it, and he was talking about it for the rest of the day. Then me and mum did homework while dad went and saw the Roman villa we could not get to a couple days ago. After a while he came home and more ice cream talk until dinner. After dinner guess what we did ... go for ice cream. ON the way home we found some cats and had cat time. Now we are home, Good night.

March 23: Today we went on a day trip around the Amalfi coast. First we went to Termini, but just to drive though and stop at a cemetery. Then we went back on the road to go to Positano. At Positano we stopped at the beach and got some vitamin D, and threw rocks in the ocean. For lunch we went to a pizzeria, which was looking over the sunny beach. Then I got a new hat because I didn't have one and it was hot and sunny. Then it took us a while (most of the day) to climb the hill to where we parked the car and move on. The next stop was the town of Almafi, we were hoping to have some gellati there but we just jumped out of the car to take two photos because we couldn't find anywhere to park. After the photos we drove to Ravello to look around and see if we could get gellati there - luckily we did. We saw a villa with more then 365 rooms in it (big). we walked around the Villa's big garden overlooking the ocean. By then I was tired so I was not such a happy camper. Now we are home and just chillaxing. Bye.
