Feb. 5: Today we drove to a new destination - Italy! We ended our drive in Torino where the 2006 Olympics were held. The first thing we did was go see the Shroud of Turin which is a blanket that was wrapped around Christ. We saw a museum of the Shroud and visited the Cathedral where it is kept. I thought it was pretty cool. We had a long and slow walk back to the hotel. Now it is 11:59 so I think I end it off here. Bye.

  1. amazing to see the shroud of Turin. Such wonderful alpine scenery. I hadn't thought of Italy as snowbound with no trees. wasn't the low land town near the olympic events colorful with lots of variety?
