Feb. 6: The main event of today was the second most important Egyptian museum in the world. The first thing we saw at the museum was some mummified dead people. We learned that one mummy had had his organs and brain removed through his nose. I thought the mummies we gross. Then we saw a lot of Egyptian writing on scrolls. There were a lot of documents and some stories, they were written on papyrus. Their writing (hieroglyphics) looked very complicated. Then my favorite of all was the cat god named Bastet. She is shown as ether a cat with earrings or a woman with a cat's head. That’s all the Egypt stuff for today. Then we went to a palace that was very golden. Then we went home and did homework. For dinner we had pizza. I have a new good book to read tonight.
