Dec. 6: Today we went to a couple very crazy buildings made by Antoni Gaudi. Dad is a big fan of Gaudi. First we went to his Casa Mila which was completed 100 yeas ago, and I was mesmerized by his curves and his love of nature. Then we went to his Park Guell, that was where he lived. Picasso grew up here and I think he might have been inspired by Gaudi. Then for dinner we went to a very nice place called Moo. Unfortunately I had a bad meal but the people were so nice. Now we are at home happy and STUFED.

ReplyDeleteYou have to see "La Sagrada Familia" while you are in Barcelona. It is an imposing building that was started about 100 years ago and is still not finished. Gaudi designed it but he died before he could finish all his plans.
I envy you, would love to be in Barcelona looking at all those crazy buildings.
