Dec. 8: Today was tiring with a long walk to start going to see the Sagarada Famiglia by Gaudi who we saw a couple blogs ago. We walked around the church but decided to come back Monday cause the line was too long. We then went to the Barcelona history museum and saw the Roman ruins. Barcelona was started as a little Roman outpost in 12 BC. At the end of the museum was a show on the history of film and we saw the very first movie projector. In the evening we went to see the Magic fountain show and stopped by the Barcelona Pavilion by Mies Van der Rohe.

  1. I think that we missed the Mies Van der Rohe pavilion. I had admired it for years when in architecture school. You guys are showing us so many wonderful surprises with great photos.
