March 16: A day in Matera, one of the oldest towns in the world. Today we went out and immediately ran into a million cave/houses that people lived in until 1950. We walked around a bit and in the Centre  of town, found a tour just about to start. We caught the tour and ended up looking around some Cistern system that was very advanced. The tour guide's grandmother actually used the system as a normal citizen. Then we went for lunch, which I was not fond of. After lunch we meandered home. Do not be fooled by the photos we were freezing, and the wind did not help at all. When we got home we warmed up inside and then mum and dad went out to visit a museum.
