April 9: Today we went to the Uffizi museum where we saw lots of paintings from the renaissance. We saw Botticelli's paintings The berth of Venus and the Primavera which also had Venus (Aphrodite). I like greek gods but I am not a fan of those paintings. Then we walked to the Cathedral and saw the baptism doors and then home. Later mum and dad went off so I watched TV and had dinner when they got back. Together I had a good day, and I cant wait till tomorrow.

Its amazing to see and imagine the cultural wealth in the golden age of Florence. My favorites are the Baptistry doors.
