April 3: Today we went to Assisi for the whole day. Our day was all about St. Francis of Assisi (1181-1226). First we saw where he was baptized, then where he went to school, and then where he was buried. We also saw the cross where he herd the voice of God (and where he started his monastic order living in a hovel and sleeping on a stone bed). Along the way we saw a cat. After a full day of Assisi we drove home and had a small dinner in our room.
