April 11: Today we went to Parma, like the Parma ham. We took a tour of a Parmesan cheese factory and we saw them make the cheese by hand. Then we saw what the cheese looks like after its all done. After that part of the tour we went to a Prosciutto factory and saw all the hams being salted. I loved the smell of the hams. Then the last stage on the tour was going to a winery and having lunch of hams, cheese and pasta. After that we left that tour we went to another one, this time of Balsamic vinegar. I had to hold my breath in the attic the smell was so strong. I don't like vinegar and never have but the tour was not bad. Then we walked around Modena for two hour so we could go for dinner at Osteria Francescana. My favourite course of the meal was the eel (it tasted like unagi). We got home late and then went to bed right away so we blogged in the morning, Bye.
