Sept 28:
last night we didn't get much sleep but we survived. We did lots today and saw lots. We saw cats, 12 to be precise, not to mention the ducks that went thru a lock with us, I fed them bread they seemed to like that. now we are in NNNNN and just had the meal of our lives!!! sorry we have had really bad wifi so we are having a hard time sending these blogs off.

the day before, Sept 27:`
First we went to see a winery, that was really cold, we had a private tour of three levels of limestone caves. I liked it but I like orangeries better. We just left the cute little town of St. Emillion, but we're off to see...our boat, sorry not the Wizard of Oz, as much as I would like to, we aren't in Kansas. As I was saying before I rudely interrupted myself, we got on our small but cosy boat and we are off to cruise the canals and rivers of the Aquitaine. Do you want to know what I think is cool, and no you don't have a choice, it is the locks, the locks are not padlocks but big metal and concrete things that transfer the water level up or down. I think those are cool. I think I am done here so bye, see you in munchkin land!!

 Sept 26:
Sorry I didn't write for a little because we had bad wifi, but now I am back. The first day that I didn't write we were just moving to St. Emillion. We got on a really crowded metro train when we left Paris, I was worried we wouldn't be able to get off at our stop or that one of us would get left behind.
But it worked out okay.  Then we got on a long train ride down south to Libourne, that was comfortable. After a short drive we arrived in St. Emillion, it is a very nice little town. The second day we were in St. Emillion we went for pizza and then a tour of the underground monuments, they dug out a huge church from the limestone in the late 1100s (now they have to support the underground columns  with very ugly metal braces because the tower on the top, that they added later,  is too heavy and not centred), it was still very cool though. Then we did a scavenger hunt around the town, it was like solving a mystery and very fun. Now the third day in St. Emillion which is today we were going to go to a winery a bit far away, but they had no room for us so I stayed home while mum and dad did some walking. On our way out for dinner I met a very cute, small orange kitty which I fed some cat treats, we didn't have our camera with us so I don't have a picture unfortunately. That's all for today. bye bye! Tomorrow we leave St. Emillion and are going canal cruising for 4 days so we won't have wifi again, I might not be able to write to you until after that.

Sept 23: Today it is Sunday so that means church. We went to a place called Saint Denis. It was the first gothic cathedral. After church we got back on the subway and went back to our hood for crepes. Stopped in our neighbourhood church for a photo because we forgot to take that last week. I did some homework while mommy and daddy did laundry. We packed our bags because tomorrow we are heading to Bordeaux. For desert I had a beautiful ice-cream in the shape of a rose.

Sept 22:
Today we went to a puppet marinate show of the Three Little Pigs, I thought the marionettes were a little bit weird but I liked the show more than I thought I would. We went to the crypt of the Pantheon on our way home, it was a wonderful space and my mum and dad and I played a very calm game of hide and seek. When we got home we had some time for a rest before heading out again to see a ballet. I thought the ballet was really good. Now we are home and I can't think of anything else that we did today so ta ta for now.

Sept. 21:
Dad went to Chartres and then the Paris Catacomes which has millions of people buried there. He woke us up on the way out. Mummy made me soup and sent me back to bed. I slept till noon. Mummy took me for a unagi don because I was begging for two weeks. After the unagi donburri we went home to do some homework. After a while daddy got home and it was raining but we went for ice-cream at Bertillon's even though I am sick. After ice-cream me and mummy went to a cute store and I got a pen and a notebook and a quill.

Sept. 20: Isa is still sick today so dad is posting for her. After a morning of homework for Isa, Meiko and I went out for a last museum binge in Paris. We started with the Carnavelet which is a most incredable history museum of Paris set in a renaissance palace and filled with evocative paintings, sculptures, models and artifacts from the whole of Parisian history.  Next we did a marathon Louve visit which included a preview of the new Islamic art display as well as an Easter island head and a suite of rooms from Napolian III's stay in the Louvre. For dinner we dragged Isa away from her Dr Who and had a couple of great steaks at the Alsatian Brasserie we did for lunch the other day.

Sept. 19: I am sick today but mommy and daddy went out to Le Maurice for lunch and later got some soup and rice for me in the Latin Quarter. I had 3 bowls of miso soup and one bowl of noodle soup today.

Sept. 18: Today we didn't get out from homework till about lunch. After lunch at our favourite place, Fous de Lile, we went to a big park. We did some walking around the grottos and we met a kitten that was abandoned but it looked healthy and happy. We took the metro home and bye the time we got there it was time for a dip so me and dad went to a pool. I didn't expec what I saw and I have to say I was a little disappointed in the pool. After that we went for sushi. I love sushi and we all thought it was good! After that we went home and I face timed with my class it was so good to see them and I can't wait to get home, but till then i think i will survive. Night.
