May 31:
Today is a special day for us here in Europe, but I will get to that later. First we went to the aquarium and saw some nice little fish. My favourite part of the aquarium was the sea horses. After the aquarium we took the metro back to the Christainsborg Palace at see the stables. I loves seeing the horses, they were all very nice and friendly. The carriages in the photo are still in use. Then we walked home and on the way we ran into the museum of Guinness world records. Out side the museum there was a man or a statue of a man that was 8.11 feet tall, we didn't go in the museum though. The next thing that happened was me staying home doing homework and mum and dad biked around town. The exiting park of the day that is so exiting that it makes the blog is that Suyin, and Gung-gung are coming to visit. I am so stoked. That seems like all for today I will make sure to tell you all about tomorrow, and believe me tomorrow will be exiting.

May 30: Today we went on a train trip to Kronborg castle. Which is where Shakespeare set Hamlet. For those who don't know Hamlet here is a short revelation, the stories of great feasts in Denmark colored the ancient Danish folktale of 2 brothers, one of whom became king and the other killed his brother to take over the crown and married his widow. The son of the dead king then pretended to be insane to avoid being killed while he plotted revenge. After the castle we took the train to the Louisiana art museum. The museum was nice, a bit long, but nice. There was tuns of art and lots of really modern things. The last thing we did to day after we got back to Copenhagen was go to Tivoli gardens. It was amazing, absolutely amazing. The rides were so big and cool, and the food was the most delicious. We had a great time. Tomorrow we will be having some very special guests.

May 29: Today turned out a nice day. It started raining while we were at the Kastellet castle. Then we went to the Danish design museum. My favourite pice in that museum was a glass box filled with potato chips and a boat sailing on them. Next the Amalienborg castle for a quick visit. Then we went to a bigger palace called the Christiansborg castle.  When we were  done with the castles the sun came out. Then we went home and had a good dinner at a quaint cafe. Then we took a leisurely walk home. Once home we went to bed after some math and blog. Bye bye for now.

May 28: Isa took the day off travel to do homework while mum and dad explored the city and have been asked to write about it. We started the day with a walk to Rosenborg castle. Copenhagen was founded in 1254 and did not become an important centre until the rule of Christian IV who built this castle as part of a major expansion in the early 1600's. After the castle we went to the National Gallery and studied art then on to the botanical gardens before picking up tickets to the opera. Wagner's Tannhauser was done with a Scadinavian interpretation of mental illness and it was gripping but 4 hours is too long. Fantastic Opera house experience then a bite overlooking Tivoli gardens to round out the day.

May 27 I am sorry for the late blog but I will explain why it is late. First I will tell you some about the photos at the bottom of the page. That was dads biking trip. They went through snow rain and other weather that was even worse than the weather me and mum had. Yesterday we left our nice hotel in Berlin and got on a seven hour train trip to Copenhagen. The train car was the best we had had on our trip. There was our own little room with so much room (we were actually comfortable). Once we got to Copenhagen we left the train station and were right in front of Tivoli garden. On the other side on the garden was our hotel, a five minuet walk. We didn't stay long at our hotel because
we went out for dinner. I can describe dinner in one word, crazy. The meal was SO big. So so so big. I ordered potato and leek soup and fish and chips, dad ordered haring and salmon baked in a (footlong) dish of potatoes, and mum's was the caziest of all she and gravlocks to start and as a main she had a plate piled high with thick pork rinds. Mum was saying that if anyone ate the hole plate of pork rinds they would have had a hart attack. So we went for a long (three hour) walk afterwards. Then we went home and fell asleep soon after and that would be the reason for the no blog yesterday. Isa out :).
