May 11: Today we first went on a funicular trip up Pelinske. We walked around and saw a miniature Eiffel Tower and then slowly walked down and took a trolly ride toward old town. At one o'clock we meet Marketa in front of the astronomical clock. With Marketa we went to a small beer hall for lunch. After lunch we walked to the Hotel Paris for a coffee and went to the Art Nouveau Municipal House. The last thing I did was go to a museum of an Art Nouveau artist. All the paintings and sketches were by the artist Mucha who designed the currency when Czechoslovakia was formed and did the stained glass in the Cathedral we saw a couple days ago. I don't think he is on my list of favourite artistes but he was very talented.

  1. I'm so happy you linked up with Markéta. Art Nouveau cafe looks good. We'll visit there if and when we see Prague again
