May 23: Dome, Dome, Ome, Gnome.
Today was a nice and sunny day, and we were exited about going out to a building of parliament (the Reichstag) with a big glass dome on the top. Once we stepped outside we realized how cold it was, and we were wearing summerish clothes. We took the long cold walk to the building and waited outside for our turn to be able to go up. Once it was our turn we went through security then took a speedy 20 second ride to the top floor and got an audio-guide. We then walked a spiral ramp to the very top of the dome. Mum really did not like it one bit, and wanted to go down the whole time we were going up, but she kept taking more and more photos. We then went back down and meandered home through the shopping street, stopping in some shops here and there. I did one of the stupidest things while we were shopping which was stop for a frappe at Starbucks - too cold. We stayed home for most of the day after that, doing homework and going down stairs for high tea. After high tea we went to see a ballet. The ballet was called Caravaggio after the artist. The ballet was about some of his works. I didn't really like the ballet much, I thought it was too modern but mum liked it a lot, she likes the artistic director Vladimir Malakov. After the ballet we went home and went to bed shortly after. Tally Hoe!
