May 9:
Today we started off with a tour of Prague led by Bianca starting at the Strahov Monastery founded in 1140. We went to Prague Castle and went into St. Vitus cathedral. St. Wenceslas chapel in the cathedral has 1200 jewels and precious stones on the walls. This is were they crowned the kings. We walked down “Golden Lane” then across the Charles bridge which is 700 years old. When we ended the tour we were in the Old town. We had a nice lunch overlooking Old town square and I got a milk shake (I haven’t had a milk shake since before we left home). Before dinner we had a walk along the Vltava river.
